যেসব রাসায়নিক পদার্থ পরিমিত পরিমাণে ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে খাদ্য সামগ্রী প্রক্রিয়াজাত করে দীর্ঘসময় সংরক্ষণ করা হয় তাদেরকে প্রিজারভেটিভস বলে।
