f : x → y ফাংশনের x এর একটি মানের জন্য y এর কেবলমাত্র একটি মান পাওয়া যায় তাকে এক এক ফাংশন বলে।
সংজ্ঞা : যদি কোনো ফাংশনের অধীনে ডোমেনের ভিন্ন ভিন্ন সদস্যের ছবি সর্বদা ভিন্ন হয়, তবে ফাংশনটিকে এক-এক ফাংশন (One-One function) বলে।
